DEFENSE DOMINATES FOR BU

A rivalry on paper, this didn't resemble one at all on the field. Baylor went into College Station and simply dominated the Aggies' offense in front of a rowdy & loud packed house.
Holding TAMU to a mere 3 pts, Baylor's defense proved that they are one of the nation's best and that the Maryland game was a blip on the radar rather than the norm. The Aggies were only able to pickup 11 first downs and barely topped 200 yds of total offense against BU. The new 3-4 was at it's best, limiting one of the Big 12's top running games to 86 yards & less than 4.0 a clip. Equally as suffocating was the secondary, whose new faster personel makes teams dump off short routes, as evidenced by TAMU's 10 for 16 for only 134 yds.
The offense, for the 2nd week in a row, looks to be back in top form after some early season struggles. Wright tops 250 yds & 70% completion. He throws a bunch of TDs to various targets without turning it over. The multiple back look tops 150 yds & gets in the endzone. O-line keeps everyone clean. We've seen this before from this unit, but for a Baylor fan, it never gets old. This rivalry however, looks like it might be, as Baylor has won 3 in a row over Texas A&M, each one a bigger blowout that the last.
