Another disasterous 1st half for Georgia led to a 21-10 halftime deficit. Georgia threw 2 interceptions and lost 2 fumbles giving the Gamecocks 14 easy points. But just the same as last week the offense tightened up and the defense stiffened up as South Carolina was held scoreless in the second half. B. Coutu's 29 yd FG was the difference with about 1:00 to go in the game. South Carolina just got the ball within field goal range but to only see the clock just run out on them before being able to call time out.
