Georgia Comes up Huge in Shootout with Cowboys
For 3 quarters nothing could go right for the Bulldogs. Turnovers led to 17 1st half points for Oklahoma State and a 31-17 halftime deficit. To make matters worse Georgia lost star RB Thomas Brown for the season in the second quarter and lost starting QB Matthew Stafford for the game.
But facing a 31-20 4th quarter deficit the Georgia defense turned it on forcing 3 turnovers including a huge fumble late in the fourth giving the Bulldogs the field position they needed to go for the win. Knowshown Moreno scored with 14 seconds to go to seal the amazing comeback.
The victory feels good but the upcoming season will be difficult with out Senior RB Thomas Brown.
