Illinois caps of a successful season with a win in the Rose Bowl.
The illin last night executed their game plan to perfection and came away with a huge win in the Rose Bowl. Everything was going right and Juice Williams was absolutely on fire. After jumping out to a quick lead they were able to hold on too the lead the rest of the game as they shut down WVU explosive offense.

What was good
Offense
Special Teams

What didnt go so well
Run defense was iffy.

The Fighting Illini to play in the Rose Bowl against #6 West Virginia
This should be an excellent game between two very talent teams. It will be interesting to see whether or not the Illini can shut down the run game of West Virginia. If they can look for them to win but if they cant a victory in this game is unlikely.

Injury Reports
Brit Miller | Torn Pectorals | Out

Keys to the game
offense: limit turnovers
defense: slowdown the running game.

Predictions
Kirk Herbstreit: 38 - 37 WVU
Lee Corso: 42 - 35 Illinois
Lou Holtz: 45-42 WVY

The Illini have wrapped up the regular season and are waiting to see where they will be playing their Bowl Game. We had some time to speak with some Illini Players.

Juice Williams:
Overall are you happy with you season
Yes, overall i'm fairly happy with my season. The team went 11-1 and thats great but i really wish i didn't turn the ball over as much as i did. I guess that just gives me something to improve on for next year.

If there was something you could change from the season what would it be?
It would definetly be the number of picks i threw. It really didnt help out the team. Also i would like to have a second shot at Penn State.

Vontae Davis:
You really had a huge season, how did you do it?
In the off-season i really worked on my agility which allowed me to be in the right play at the right time. I also Worked on my decision making.

Will Judson:
Your huge season really came out of nowhere, do you think people doubting you really helped?
Yah i feed of negative energy, People always said i was too short and would never amount to anything but i showed them.
