Hoosiers Win Shootout 56-38
Indiana had to rely on their potent offense when the defense stumbled. Despite sacking Southern Illinois 10 times the Hoosiers allowed 499 passing yards and 38 points against the 1-AA opponent.
Offensively James Hardy, Justin Carrington and Blake Powers again led the way for the Hoosiers. Hardy had 2 receiving touchdowns and a punt return for a TD, Carrington rushed for 213 yards and a TD, and Powers threw for 365 yards and 5 TDs.
Indiana next plays host to UConn in their last non-Big 10 game of the year.
