Anthony Morelli skipped the end of practice and bragged to too many people that he got out of sprints earlier this week. He was suspended for the game and Clark got to start. However, a guy we gave a redshirt to at the beginning of the season had to take over because of his inaccurate throws. We were behind because we couldn't hit an open receiver and we were giving the ball away too much. Tony Hunt had a monster performance and went over 1,000 yards on the ground today. Derrick Williams also saw his total in the air go beyond the 1,000 yard mark. On the same token, Illinois could do no wrong on offense today. Their starting QB threw the ball like a madman and wouldn't let up. That is until he hit his elbow on a couple of our guys heads at the start of the 4th quarter and could no longer play. When he came out, Illinois couldn't move the ball and Penn State had found their way in. They scored 21 points in the 4th to comeback and win the game.
