2006 Week 5

Penn State came back from a blowout loss last week and took it out on this week's opponent in a rainy game in Happy Valley. This is the second time we have come back strong to bring us back to where we need to be. The offense had some problems today and we couldn't figure out why, we will have to address it this week in practice. Derrick Williams was held in check today and at halftime he was -30 on his rating, including being -23 in speed bringing him down to a 74 speed. Anthony Morelli took note and used some different recievers, but it still hurt his numbers not having his favorite target there. The rain was a factor in the turnovers today, but our offense was still not clicking. We would have just punt more if we hadn't given them the ball. Paul Posluszny really stood out today and showed us what we have been missing all year on defense.
