Beefmaster's Penn State Nittany Lions

2006 Week 11

On The Schedule: Temple W 51-13

All Quiet in Week 11

Weekly Report Posted: May 19, 2024 05:15

No news has been reported this week.

OK, but why?

A confidence builder in the middle of the season was all this game was. Temple is pretty bad and don't have a lot of talent right now. Maybe being on tv was their goal and that might help them in recruiting this year. But, it was a pounding from the start. We threw and ran wherever we wanted to. Morelli is almost where we want him, this has been a growing year for him and we hope to see a star by next season. Justin King took a punt back 52 yards for a score in the game as well as taking his second int back for a touchdown in as many weeks. Tony Hunt is just pounding away and is now has the 7th most rushing yards in the NCAA. We welcomed Deon Butler back today and he had a decent return. Nothing much noteable for this game otherwise, one more then we will see what Bowl game comes calling.
