I didn't think either team was going to stop each other. Late in the 2nd quarter we were leading Carolina 21-17 and the offenses hadn't been stopped all day. Just under two minutes remaining in the half and SC QB Crawford threw a pass to Cox and FS David Miller blasted him causing a fumble that was recovered by Tyler. This was a huge momentum change in the game and the Gamecocks would not score again.
