Tennessee Defense Controls Bluff
Tennessee racked Tyler Cooper for 7 sacks and 5 interceptions, and the Volunteers controlled the entire game. The lone Pine Bluff score came on an interception return by defensive end Sean Collier playing in a Raider zone.
Pine Bluff lost two defensive starters for the rest of the year - CB Kenny Gardner and SS Tonnie Cox. Both sustained severe arm injuries.
