In a route of #2 Boise State, Auburn captured it's first BSC National Championship. Again the defense lead the way creating 5 turnovers. The second half was the story as the Tigers continued to pour it on.

In crushing #4 Florida, #1 Auburn has secured the schools first SEC championship in decades. With a record of 13-0 (9-0) the #1 Tigers now move on to face the #2 Boise State Broncos in the BSC National Championship game. Coach Tylerd02 was ethstatic with how his defense played forcing 5 Florida turnovers and scoring the opening 2 touchdowns. Coach Tylerd02 predicted this could be a breakout year for the Tigers after securing the #2 recruiting classes each of his first 2 seasons at Auburn and the #7 class this season. The Tigers remain strong on the recruiting path as Scouts.com currently has the class ranked #1 overal with 5 blue chippers.
CB Fiowers Breaks School Record

CB Jerone Fiowers broke the Auburn school record for most interceptions in a season when he tallied to more in the National Championship game to finish the season with 9. The previous record was 8. Auburn wishes Fiowers best of luck at the next level and congratulates him on his accomplishments.
HB McCoy Breaks Auburn School Record

HB Shane McCoy broke the Auburn school record for rushing touchdowns in a season with 18. The previous record stood since 1971. McCoy rushed for 2 scores in defeating Florida in the SEC Championship game. Auburn congratulates McCoy on his record breaking season.
TE Garcia Breaks School Record

TE Shannon Garcia broke the school record for recieving touchdowns in the season with 13. He raised his total with another touchdown in the SEC championship game. Garcia also garned the Top TE award for his record breaking season. Auburn congratulates Shannon Garcia on breaking the school record for receiving touchdowns in a season and receiving the Top TE award.
