INSANITY!

I don't think words can describe the offensive explosion & sheer crazyness of this game. Baylor & Army combined for over 90 pts and 1400 total yards. There was a 400+ yard passer with 5 TDs and a 350+ one with 4 scores. One RB with nearly 200 yards, another well over 100, each scoring twice. 5 receivers with over 75 yards, 3 topped 100. And 3 times Baylor came back from a 16 pt deficit, including a 20 point 4th qtr, to come all the way back for the win. As the headline says...INSANITY!
Baylor ends their out of conference play at an impressive 3-1, but 2 glaring weaknesses will probably be exploited as the schedule gets much tougher in Big 12 play. 1st, the Bears have no offensive line at all. Regardless of run blocking or pass protection, defensive players are breaking thru the line at alarming rates. 2nd, and much more severe, Baylor has no clue how to stop the run. It can be the option game (TCU), power running (Army), or even solo effort of the RB (NW St), opponents are shredding the Bears front 7. The only game they had good numbers against the run was the win over Washington St, and the only reason was because the Cougars hardly ran the ball. The Oklahoma's & Texas's & A&M's of the Big 12 are going to destroy Baylor on the ground if the weaker opponents already have had so much success.
Even still, at 3-1, Coach Juggs has the Bears only 3 wins from being bowl eligble, a major accomplishment in his 1st season at the helm.
