Wolverines earn impressive win at #1 Georgia, 63-34
Many folks would have liked to see last year's Georgia squad play for the national title and disputed the legitimacy of Michigan's national title. If the outcome of this year's game is any indicator, the Wolverines would have earned that title one way or the other.
#11 Michigan piled up 559 yards of total offense, including 245 rushing yards that led to seven scores on the ground, and routed the #1 Bulldogs on the road, 63-34.
Michigan QB James Tepper ran for three of those touchdowns, finishing with 60 yards on 12 carries. He added a fourth score in the passing game, completing 20 of 27 passes for 282 yards. HB Michael Shaw had a huge game, running for 147 yards on just 10 carries, including touchdown runs of 11, 35, 34, and 41 yards.
