Finally, a running game...
Marcus Woods showed up for the first time this year. Giving us 112 yards on the ground allowing us to easily handle New Mexico. At first it looked like New Mexico was gonna tear us apart sacking Brandon Coleman for a saftey putting them ahead 9-7 at the end of the first quarter. Well, the offense decided that was enough. Going on a tear of 49 unanswered points. They were lead by the running game, making play action almost unstoppable. Coach Estes said it was the best we've played all year. That he said, "is including the UConn game." That's a great game then in my opinion. "We played great. Martin(Rucker) did a fabulous job of catching the ball." said slot reciever Tommy Saunders. "If this keeps up, the Big 12(championship) is ours." said outside linebacker Van Alexander. "Ohio better watch out. We're gonna play even better." Woods added. Well we can only hope the Tigers keep improving.
