Coleman to Rucker...Get used to It

Brandon Coleman and Martin Rucker decided they wanted to control this game. Just look at the Stats. Brandon had the honor of throwing for 8 TD's this game. Shattering the previous school record of 4! Martin was the benefactor of Brandon's offensive surge, setting the school record in receptions(17, previous 16), Receiving yards in a game(291, previous 240) and Receiving TD's in a game(5, previous 4).
We got after UConn from the beginning, with Stryker Sulak recording a sack on the first play of the game. Our offense scored every possestion in the first half. Our defense held them scoreless except for a missed assisgnment late in the 2nd quarter. The Huskies had several defensive mistakes lossing 3 fumbles and 2 interceptions. With all the turnovers they had no chance. We had our offensive starters on the bench as soon as Martin got the reception record. We felt if we didn't try for the record then, he never would get it.
