Big Win on the Road for Pitt.
Pitt went into Grambling State, a Division II school, with the hopes of rebounding after their loss against Eastern Michigan a week earlier.
Pitt crushed Grambling St. 63-27 in a game that was pretty much over before it started. The Pittsburgh Defense played amazing as they were led by star cornerback Kennard Cox who racked up 3 interceptions, 2 of them were returned for touchdowns. Cox earned Player of the Game Honors and National and Big East Player of the Week Honors.
Special Teams played a big role in the Pittsburgh victory as Kevin Collier(KR) and Aaron Berry(PR) both had 2 return touchdowns, putting the game out of reach for Grambling State.
Pitt looks to keep it alive next week at home against Michigan State.
