Pitt Loses a Heartbreaker Against Louisville

Pitt was once again the big underdog going into the Louisville game. The game went back and forth the whole time. It came down to the wire and the Panthers fell just short off a poor call by a bad ref. The final score was 48-45 Louisville.

Here are the Top 3 Panthers Plays from the Game:

#3. LeSean McCoy took handoff off left tackle early in the game and took it 25 yards to the house to keep the game even. McCoy now has 12 touchdowns on the year.

#2. Cedric McGee took back a kickoff early in the 3rd quarter to keep the game at a level playing field. McGee has racked up numerous return touchdown's this year.

#1. Pat Bostick hit Oderick Turner on a bomb with 15 seconds left in the game. Turner caught the pass in field goal range, but was pulled back because of a bad celebration penalty. This cost the Panthers the game, but had the refs called it right, the game would ahve gone to overtime and the Panthers could have had anotehr shot at the win. But because of the bad call, the game ended with the score 48-45 Louisville.
