Spiders Upset Aztecs
Rioting in the streets of this rural Colorado town followed the most-anticipated game in school history as undefeated and 8th ranked San Diego State came to Gunnison Field to battle undefeated and 17th ranked Richmond. The game turned, on all things, on Willie Kidd's scoop-up of a fumble in a crowd of Aztecs and his 91 yard sprint for a touchdown.
