Some Reporter Gives Game #1 All Time Greatest
How strange is that? Richmond had assumed a commanding 24-10 halftime advantage, and increased the margin to 34-10 in the 3rd quarter after a punt return by Chester Boyd.
BYU ate into that margin as Richmond went to its 4th string quarterback and took impact player Willie Kidd out of the defensive ballgame. The game ended just as the Cougars scored on a 37 yard pass play. After the PAT the final score was 41-34 but the game was never in doubt. Yet it was assigned the #1 GGS of all time by EA.
