2013 Week 6

The UAB Blazers got their first C-USA win in a very exciting game that took an extra period to finish. WKU had UABs number for almost the entire game, however with the help of Senior QB A.J. Erdely and a great defensive possession by UAB on WKU's last possession in regulation, A.J. Erdely was able to forge up a game-tying drive with only 45 seconds to go. Once UAB entered overtime, they knew it was time to end this. The Blazer defense was able to force a quick 3 and out and a FG, then the UAB offense was able to drive down to the 2 yard line and hand it off to Spencer Brown who punched it in to cap an amazing come from behind win. The Blazers next action will on the road as they head down to Riccardo Silva Stadium to play the FIU Golden Panthers.
