The miners definitely came out to play against conference opponent la tech today in conference play. The miners were led offensively by stud sophomore quarterback Anthony Terrell, he threw the ball all over the field tallying 455 yards and 7 touchdowns. If the miners keep fueling the potent offense behind Coach Konz's playcalling we are sure in for a treat this year miners fans. Defensively, however, the miners started to give up some yards to la tech in the second half. This is a little worrisome for miners fans, but Coach Konz gave us a quote at the end of the game about the defense, "You can only kick people's ass's for so long before your guys wear down and they want to take a few plays off. We will run them in practice this week to deter this kind of behavior in the future."
