#3 Alabama (4-0) has an A offense, an A+ defense, and is A+ overall. We are #2 in pts/gm, #9 in total offense, and #1 in total defense. #19 Florida (3-0) has a B+ offense, a B defense, and is B+ overall. They are #24 in pts/gm, #42 in total offense, and #62 in total defense. Weather: Clear.

UF's Foster goes in from a yard out, 7-0 Gators. Hmm... A little later UF K Neal boots a 41 yarder and it's 10-0 Gators. QB George Gray throws an 86 yard TD pass to WR Anthony Morris, 10-7 at the end of one.

QB Gray then throws a 43 yard TD pass to WR Morris and it's 14-10 Tide. HB Andrew Edwards scores on an 11 yard TD run, 21-10 Bama. PR D.J. Selmon returns a UF punt 54 yards for a TD, 28-10. UF QB Sampson throws an 11 yard TD pass to Smith, 28-17. UF QB Sampson then throws a 6 yard TD pass to Graham, 28-24 at halftime.

UF QB Sampson throws a 25 yard TD pass to Smith and the Gators have comeback to lead 31-28 with 3:07 left in the 3rd quarter. FB Dan Sanders scores on a 3 yard TD run, 35-31 Tide.

HB Edwards scores on an 8 yard run just :27 into the 4th quarter, 42-31. The defenses hold firm and there is no more scoring in the game.

Florida was more than game for this one, but we prevailed and go on to bigger and better things this season.
