#1 Alabama (4-0) is A+ across the board. We are #1 in pts/gm, #29 in total offense, and #1 in total defense. Florida (0-3) is C+ across the board. They are #85 in pts/gm, #109 in total offense, and #113 in total defense. A missing wallet was found in WR Joe Tyler's locker and he will miss 3 games. Also, allegations about how DE John Terrell did not earn his grades have recently surfaced. Therefore, he will miss 3 games also. Weather: Clear.

PR Zach Tyler returns a punt 73 yards for a score and two punts later he returns another punt 72 yards for the score, 14-0 Bama.

QB Rob Sims scores on a 7 yard option run, 21-0. QB Sims throws a 54 yard TD pass to HB Nick Brown, 28-0. K Dennis Larkins chips in a 24 yarder, 31-0.

UF's Reese scores on a 17 yard TD run after PR Tyler fumbles a punt, 31-7. HB Brown scores on a 12 yard TD run, 38-7. QB Sims throws a 12 yard screen pass that goes for a TD to TE Neal Smith, 45-7. CB Clint Armstrong picks off a Gator pass and returns it 31 yards for the score, 52-7.

This game wasn't very close. With those two early punt returns for TDs, we didn't need much offense. We pressured the Gator QB early and often and he didn't fare too well. This gives me 400 wins during my coaching career at Alabama. What a milestone!
