HB Nick Brown comes up with the deflection for the score on the 14 yard TD pass, 17-10 Bama with :05 left in the first half.

HB Brown rips off a 66 yard TD run to put us up 24-10 just :54 into the second half. MSU HB Winbush, who I swear has been at State for like 22 years, scores on an 18 yard TD run, 24-17 Tide. HB Brown scores on a 1 yard TD run off the right side, 31-17 Bama with :49 left in the third quarter.

PR Zach Tyler returns a State punt 81 yards for the score to give us a comfortable lead, 38-17 with 5:19 left in the game. MSU HB Winbush, who should about be eligible for social security by now, goes in on a 34 yard TD run, 38-24 with 3:55 left. MSU HB Hawkins, State's other impact HB, goes in from 3 yards out with :29 left in the game. The Alabama onsides kick team recovers the ball and we run out the clock.

State played tough in this game. The final score wasn't really as close this game was even though it made #10 on my all time games list.
