QB Rob Sims takes it into the endzone from 7 yards out, 7-0 Tide. A key play on this drive was a fake punt on 4th and 7 near midfield that was converted by HB A.J. Jasmin.

OM K Keyes knocks in a 28 yard FG to make it 7-3. OM PR Mack returns a punt 83 yards untouched for a TD, 10-7 Rebels. That was definitely a surprise. Can't remember the last time we've had a punt returned against us. K Dennis Larkins kicks a 24 yard FG to tie it at 10 apiece. QB Sims throws a 29 yard TD pass to WR Lance Carter with :34 left in the first half to make it 17-10 Bama. Ole Miss drives down the field and gets a 45 yard FG by OM K Keyes to make it 17-13 Bama at halftime. However, we knocked out the Rebs QB on this drive and he sat out the rest of the game with bruised ribs.

We take the opening kickoff of the second half, burn 2:01 off the clock and finish the drive with an 11 yard TD run by QB Sims, 24-13 Tide. K Larkins tacks on a 23 yard FG to make it 27-13. A sack by ROLB Jermaine Gay in the endzone gives us a safety, 29-13.

QB Sims throws a 44 yard TD pass to WR Ian Edmonds to make it 36-13. The backups get in on the action with a long drive that culminated in a 3 yard TD run by HB A.J. Jasmin, 43-13.

The Rebels were definitely trying to win this one. After we knocked out their QB and went to ball control, they didn't have a chance. Our receivers could catch a cold during a blizzard in the Arctic Circle. They were really poor.
