On 2nd and 8 after a two yard run to the 15, HB Andre Justice who's been facing criticism all season for his low rushing output breaks out and speeds past the Gamecock defense on his way to an 85 yard TD run, 7-7. FB Robert Hill blasts his way into the endzone from 4 yards out, 14-7 Bama. QB Josh Smith throws a short out route to new impact WR Teddy Johnson and he spins on the defender after making the catch and goes in for the TD from 31 yards, 21-7. SC QB Mason runs it in from 31 yards after running over part of the defense and outsmarting the other half. 21-14. QB Smith goes long for WR Derrick Williams for a 72 yard TD completion, 28-14. CB Clifton Williams picks off a SC pass and returns it for a TD. Unfortunately, ROLB Josh King was offsides on the play.

The Bama defense finally holds and forces a punt. K Jason Smith kicks a 32 yard FG to make it 31-14. SC HB Smith goes in from 4 yards out, 31-21. QB Michael Johnson options his way in from 8 yards out just before halftime to make it 38-21 home team.

HB Maurice Gonzalez scores on a 6 yard TD run, 45-21. QB Smith throws in the flat to HB Gonzalez and he goes in from 6 yards, 52-21.

FB Eric Wright scores on a 2 yard TD run, 59-21. QB Johnson scores on a 49 yard TD run as time expires.

The Gamecocks were ready for this game in the first half, but so were we. This victory gets us to 3-0 in the conference and makes a statement to the rest of the nation.
