Mighty Crimson Tide moves to AVID - oh yea, game against Tulane

This is the continuation of my dynasty from Dynasty Tracker. Since that site is combining with this one and it's future is in doubt, I decided to go ahead and move it now. Thanks Kirk. *cheers*

The Alabama Crimson Tide is 103-8 from 2006-2013. During that time we have captured 6 straight National Championships and 7 straight SEC Championships during those 8 years. We are the 6 time defending National Champions and enter the 2014 season ranked #1. We currently have a 69 game win streak. We are 41-3 against Top 25 teams and 20-4 against rivals. Our bowl record is currently 8-0.

The following are the restrictions for this dynasty...
1) Can recruit any player from the state of Alabama
2) Can recruit any 3 star or lower player from the states of Mississippi, Florida, & Tennessee
3) Can recruit any 2 star player or lower from Georgia
4) Must set offseason training budget at no higher than 50%
5) Must set offseason discipline budget no less than 20%
6) May take one player that does not meet these requirements during a five year time period. Those time periods are from 2011-2015, 2016-2020, etc.

Heading into the 2014 season, the Crimson Tide is not the same team as it has been in the past seasons. Early defections to the NFL and transfers have weakened the once fearsome Red Elephants. Senior redshirt QB Josh Smith will have to step up and improve upon his 4 TD, 9 INT career or speedy redshirt sophomore QB Michael Johnson will step in. Junior HB Andre Justice will need to step up this year as he becomes the starter. In 2013 he had 1005 yards on 91 attempts and 9 TDs. Alabama returns one solid WR in the form of redshirt senior WR Teddy Johnson. Johnson had 24 receptions for 835 yards and 11 TDs. However, he had 9 drops last year and has a total of 17 in his career. The offensive line is solid on the right, but weak on the left. The defense will be very stout except for the SS position and DT positions. Those are definite weaknesses. Special teams will once again by a strong part of the team especially with new freshman kicker Jason Smith.

Tulane has a C offense, a C+ defense, and is C+ overall. We have an A- offense, an A+ defense, and we're A+ overall. Tulane is predicted to finish 2nd in C-USA so this is a very interesting opening game matchup. Weather: RAIN.

K Jason Smith starts his scoring career with Alabama on a 45 yard FG, 3-0 Tide. QB Josh Smith scrambles right and just before he throws it away, he sees WR Derrick Williams in the front corner of the endzone and he throws a rocket to him for a 28 yard TD pass, 10-0.

PR Clifton Williams returns a Green Wave punt 77 yards for the score. 17-0. FB Robert Hill drags a Tulane LB into the endzone on a 4 yard journey, 24-0. QB Smith finds WR Williams again and this 28 yard TD pass makes it 31-0.

QB Michael Johnson options his way into the endzone untouched on a 16 yard TD run, 38-0. QB Smith finds WR Teddy Johnson on a 16 yard TD pass, 45-0.

HB Maurice Gonzalez goes in from 4 yards out, 52-0.

I was pleasantly surprised with the performance of QB Josh Smith. I don't know what's gotten into him, but I hope it continues.
