Bama pounds Gators in SEC Championship
#20 Florida (9-3) has a B offense, a C+ defense, and is B overall. They are #16 in pts/gm, #24 in total offense, and #54 in total defense. We are #1 in pts/gm, #3 in total offense, and #1 in total defense. This will be the 8th straight time we have played the Gators for the SEC Championship. Without a doubt, this would have to be the weakest Gator team on paper that we have played.
HB Andre Justice breaks free on Bama's second possession and goes 54 yards for a TD after breaking a tackle by the UF DE, spinning past one UF safety, juking the other, and outrunning a LB, 7-0. QB Josh Smith hooks up with WR Teddy Johnson on a 70 yard TD pass, 14-0. FB Robert hill plows in from 2 yards out to make it 21-0. QB Smith finds WR Derrick Williams on a 71 yard TD connection, 28-0.
QB Smith throws to Johnson again for an 18 yard TD pass, 35-0.
HB Maurice Gonzalez scores on a 1 yard TD run, 42-0. The UF QB threw to the UF HB and he runs out of bounds in the endzone for a safety, 44-0. HB Andrew Edwards scores on an 18 yard TD run, 51-0.
HB Richard Graham scores on a 20 yard TD run, but K Smith misses the XP, 57-0.
This makes 8 straight SEC Championships for the Tide. In injury news ROLB Josh King tore his groin and is pretty much done for the season. Up next is the National Championship vs. #2 Iowa (9-2).
