LSU HB Jones scores from a yard out, 10-7. HB Andre Justice breaks out against the Tiger defense and goes 80 yards for the score, 17-7. K Smith hits a 36 yard FG to make it 20-7. LSU gets a pick and converts it to 6 when LSU QB Walker hits HB Jones on a 6 yard TD pass, 20-14 at the half.

K Smith hits a 21 yard FG to put the Tide up by two scores, 23-14. QB Josh Smith throws a 57 yard TD pass to WR Derrick Williams, 30-14. HB Andrew Edwards goes in from 38 yards out to make it 37-14.

QB Smith scores on a 1 yard TD run, 44-14. K Smith boots a long 54 yard FG to finish the scoring, 47-14.

LSU tried to make this a game after they cut the lead to 6 late in the 2nd. However, the Tide defense dominated the second half and the Tide rushing game got going big time with a 27-0 route in the second half. In injury news TE Kurt Mack tore his tricep and will be out 9 weeks. His season is probably done. Up next, those other tiggers, or eagles, or... whatever they want to be called. Ah ha! Barners.
