#2 Alabama (10-0) has an A offense, an A+ defense, and is A+ overall. We are #1 in pts/gm, #2 in total offense, and #1 in total defense. LSU (3-5) has a C offense, a B+ defense, and is B overall. They are #109 in pts/gm, #115 in total offense, and #42 in total defense. Weather: Clear with wind up to 11 mph.
HB Tyler Doby scores on a 9 yard TD run, 7-0 Bama. HB Jeremy Smith goes in from 28 yards out, 14-0.
QB Ricky Morris throws a 9 yard TD pass to WR Chris Coleman, 21-0. PR Coleman breaks the Tigers' backs with a 47 yard punt return for the score, 28-0. QB Morris throws to HB Doby and he takes it 53 yards for the score, 35-0.
HB Doby goes in from 5 yards out and then from 9 yards out, 49-0.
The Tigers couldn't match up with our offense, much less our defense. We win the SEC West with this victory. ROLB B.J. Dodds, our leading tackler, was injured in the game and will miss 11 weeks. His season is over.
