LSU PR Gore returns one of our punts 79 yards for the score, 7-0 Tigers. LSU's Jenkins scoops up a fumble and goes in from 16 yards, 14-0. LSU's Jenkins just cannot get enough of the scoring action as he picks off a pass and runs it in from 40 yards out, 21-0.

LSU's Hall picks off a pass and returns it 55 yards for the score, 28-0. This is not looking good. QB Ricky Morris finds WR Chris Coleman on a 6 yard screen pass for the score, 28-7. LSU QB Cox throws a 12 yard TD pass to Myers, 35-7. LSU's Campbell scoops up a fumble and rumbles 79 yards for the score, 42-7. That one hurt!

HB George Davis scores on a 20 yard TD run, but the 2 point conversion fails making it 42-13. LSU QB Cox finds Nichols on a 37 yard TD pass, 49-13. LSU QB Cox then finds Gore on a 31 yard TD pass, 56-13. Yikes! This one is all but over. QB Joseph Stevens throws an 88 yard TD pass to WR Coleman and QB Stevens takes in the two point conversion, 56-21. HB Jeremy Smith plunges in from 3 yards out and HB Smith also takes in the two point conversion, 56-29.

LSU K Walker boots a 23 yard FG, 59-29. QB Stephens goes in from 11 yards out, but the two point conversion fails, 56-35 with 2:59 to play. QB Stephens scores again and this 10 yard TD run along with WR Coleman's two point conversion run makes it 56-43 with 2:04 remaining. QB Stephens finds WR Gary Bishop on a 40 yard TD pass and QB Stephens converts the two point conversion making it 59-51 with :40 left in the game. The Tigers recover the onside kick and that's all she wrote for this game.

8 turnovers absolutely killed us in this game. This was a sad, sad showing by the Crimson Tide in this one.
