Just 1:04 into the game Vandy jumps us when QB Morton throws a 55 yard TD pass to Moore, 7-0 'Dores. HB Michael Gibbs evens it up when he goes in from 3 yards out, 7-7. HB Tim Poe scores on a 54 yard TD run, 14-7.

FB Ben Wilson plows in from a yard out, 21-7. K Jason Smith knocks in a 37 yard FG, 24-7. QB George Gray throws a 6 yard TD pass to HB Tim Poe, 31-7.

KR Thomas Ferguson returns the second half kickoff 100 yards for the score, 38-7. After the Bama defense holds Vandy, PR D.J. Selmon returns the punt 68 yards for the score, 45-7. QB Gray throws an 8 yard TD pass to WR A.J. Hines, 52-7. QB David Turner scores on a 6 yard TD run, 59-7.

CB Ferguson picks a Vandy pass and returns it 25 yards for the score. This was sandwiched inbetween two FGs by Smith, one of 46 and one of 51. This makes the final 72-7.
