MSU gets a 1 yard TD run by Washington, 7-0 Spartans. Bama answers right back when QB George Gray throws a 35 yard TD pass to WR Mark McCollum, 7-7.

QB Gray throws a 15 yard TD pass to HB Richard Graham, 14-7 Bama. PR D.J. Selmon returns a punt 78 yards for the score, 21-7.

HB Michael Gibbs scores on a 3 yard TD run, 28-7. QB Gray throws a 41 yard TD pass to WR A.J. Hines, 35-7. QB Gray then throws a 15 yard TD pass to WR Hines, 42-7.

K Craig Gunn boots a 38 yard FG, 45-7. MSU gets a 75 yard TD run by Watson, 45-14. QB David Turner scores on a 9 yard TD run, 52-14.

The Spartans kept it close in the first half, but we were able to pull away in the third quarter. The punt return by D.J. Selmon was huge. We did give up 179 rushing yards to the starting Spartan HB. We need to work on that. This brings us to 2-0 on the season.
