Wisky defenseman Zeppuhar picks and up a fumble and takes it 65 yards for the score, 7-0 Badgers. Wisc HB Baker rumbles 76 yards for a TD, 14-0.

Wisky QB Smith throws a 29 yard TD pass to WR Thompson and it's 21-0. Alabama finally gets on the board when QB Michael Johnson throws a 57 yard TD pass to WR Anthony Morris, 21-7 Badgers. QB Johnson and WR Morris hook up again and this 68 yard TD pass makes it 21-14 with 1:52 left in the 2nd. Wisky HB Harris scores on a 7 yard TD run, 28-14. The badgers then block an Alabama punt and Wisky defenseman Mosley picks it up and runs it in from 1 yard, 35-14. That's the first punt I ever recall being blocked against me. Wow! Backup QB George Gray throws a 41 yard TD pass to WR Sam Fontaine with :05 left in the quarter to make it 35-21 at the half.

QB Gray throws a 54 yard TD pass to WR Morris and the lead is just 7. HB Andre Justice breaks through the Badger D and takes it to the house on a 70 yard TD run, 35-35! HB Andrew Edwards scores on a 4 yard TD run, 42-35 Tide.

QB Gray throws a 21 yard TD pass to WR Fontaine, 49-35 with 5:27 left. FB Eric Wright plows into the endzone from a yard out with 1:43 left to seal the victory. 56-35.

This game was a lot closer than I would have liked. That blocked punt near the end of the 2nd quarter really stunned me. Luckily, we recovered and made a comeback.
