At the end of the 2013 season I imposed harsh restrictions on the offseason budget. Presently, I do not have a QB rated over 90, a FS over 80 or a DT rated over 90. As this dynasty progresses, these numbers should drop even more and the games should become more competitive.

Entering 2015, the Crimson Tide is switching to a 3-4 defense as it's primary defense. This will be a drastic change. QB Michael Johnson will become head of the offense and HB Andre Justice and new impact player Andrew Edwards will carry the bulk of the load in the backfield. The WR core is the weakest it's been in years with 4 WRs in the 80s. There is an enormous weakness at FS with redshirt freshman Jacob Tyler being 78 OVR. This is something I will have to monitor as the season progresses.

New Mexico State has a C offense, a C- defense, and is C+ overall. We have an A- offense, an A+ defense, and we're A+ overall. New Mexico State is predicted to finish 1st in the WAC so this is a good warmup. Weather: Clear.

K Jason Smith hits a 26 yard FG to make it 3-0.

HB Andrew Edwards scores on a 2 yard TD run, 10-0. After a block by CB A.J. London, FB Dan Sanders scoops up the ball and returns it 52 yards for the score, 17-0. K Smith hits a 27 yard FG and it's 20-0.

HB Edwards scores on a 51 yard TD run, 27-0. QB Michael Johnson throws a 50 yard TD pass to WR A.J. Hines, 34-0. HB Edwards scores his third TD of the day with a 7 yard run, 41-0. In come the backups. QB George Gray throws in the flat to HB Richard Graham and he beats the Aggie defense for a 62 yard TD run, 48-0.

HB Graham scores on a 4 yard TD run, 55-0. FB Sanders Sanders scores on a 3 yard TD run, 62-0. CB Kyle Clayton picks a pass and returns it 46 yards for the score, 69-0. HB Graham scores on a 20 yard TD run, 76-0. NMSU QB Rogers throws deep to WR Moore for an 80 yard TD, 76-7. FB Sanders scores on a 1 yard plunge, 83-7.

This was a solid effort by the guys. The really surprising thing was that the backups outscored the starters. However, they did give up the lone TD.
