Duke (2-7) has a C offense, a C defense, and is C+ overall. They are #118 in pts/gm, #118 in total offense, and #116 in total defense. We're #78 in pts/gm, #109 in total offense, and #1 in total defense. In absolutely horrible news, QB Jason Shroeder will miss the next two games for missing a team meeting. LT Jerrell Fellows will miss the next two games for breaking unspecified team rules. Ughh! Guess this isn't going to be a winning season after all.

Duke gets a safety when QB Terrance Robinson steps on the back of the endzone line. Guih! 2-0 Blue Devils. Duke K#18 boots a 38 and then a 31 yard FG. 8-0.

Duke QB#7 finds TE#83 for a 31 yard TD pass. 15-0. Duke HB#20 runs one in from 32 yards. 22-0. K Grant Williams finally gets us on the board with a 38 yard FG. 22-3 at the half.

Duke K#18 gets those three points right back when he hits a 35 yarder. 25-3. Somewhere during this time MLB Pedro Myers is knocked out of the game. FB Pat Williams takes the ball, is stripped, recovers his own fumble, and scores a one yard TD. 25-10. Duke HB#20 goes 51 yards for the score. On this drive DE Willie Griffin is knocked out of the game. QB Robinson hits WR Lance Henderson over the middle and he's gone. 32-17.

Duke HB#20, looking like a Heisman candidate, goes in from 17. 39-17.

Another futile attempt! When you're D- across the board and you have to suspend your best QB, your best OL, and then your best LB and best DL get knocked out of the game, you don't stand much of a chance. Even against the likes of Duke. Geez!
