K Donte Botts kicks a 22 yard FG after the Headbangers can't convert a pick into a TD. 3-0 Bangers. SDSU QB Wilson comes right out with a play fake and goes long for WR#84 for an 83 yard TD pass, 7-3 Aztecs. SDSU gets a pick and K Russell cashes it in with a 29 yard FG, 10-3 San Diego State.

QB Jason Schroeder throws an 81 yard TD to WR Jon Smith, 10-10. SDSU QB Wilson goes deep again for WR#84 and he hauls in a 71 yard TD pass, 17-10 SDSU. QB Schroeder throws a 24 yard TD pass to WR Smith, 17-17. HB Maurice Mitchell goes off left tackle for a 3 yard TD run, 24-17 Metal! K Botts boots a 47 yard FG, 27-17. QB Schroeder finds WR Justin Bullocks on a 15 yard TD pass after a turnover, 34-17.

K Botts boots a 38 yard FG to make it 37-17.

SDSU MLB Madison picks a pass and returns it 48 yards for a TD, 37-24 with 3:15 to play. SDSU WR Davis converts a Heavy Metal turnover by QB Kevin Gaddis, who had a WR wide open in the endzone, into a 6 yard TD run. 37-31. HB Mitchell takes a handoff, goes for the first down, and helps Heavy Metal get its 10th win of the season.

We lost QB Jason Schroeder for 3 weeks due to a shoulder injury. We are going to have to rely on back up QB Kevin Gaddis to get us through. This is going to be rough.
