Punt Return Sinks #16 Terps
Three yards. All #16 Maryland (2-2, 1-1 ACC) needed was three yards to gain a first down and seal the game. But Wake Forest's defense held on 3rd and 3 with 1:02 to play and the ensuing punt was returned for a TD. A dropped pass by Darrius Heyward-Bey on 3rd and 28 sealed the victroy for the #25 ranked Demon Deacons (3-0, 1-0 ACC).
