Turnabout is Fair Play

Last week it was Michigan who was outplayed but managed to get a victory. This time the shoe was on the other foot. Michigan clearly outplayed Purdue in every category except for turnovers. The Wolverines had 5 to Purdue's 1. How costly were the turovers? Well three of them led to 21 Purdue points and the other 2 killed Michigan scoring drives in the red zone. Coach RR says to expect lineup changes on offense as it is just not clicking. He would not specify on what those changes may be. Clearly RR seemed irritated with the amount of turnovers. On the other hand, the Michigan defense was exceptional except for a couple plays here and there. They dominated the Purdue offense holding them to 18% 3rd down convertions. When the d needed a stop, it couldn't hold Purdue. That let the Boilermakers run more precious time off the clock. With three games left to go, Michigan still has a chance for a bowl but they better get their act together. They head to Minnesota next week.
