Michigan Bounces Back
Michigan started out slow, Minor was ineffective, and the offense turned the ball over three times. This time, Michigan was able to overcome all of that. Led by freshman Sam McGuffie the Wolverines managed to bounce back from their opening season loss and trounce the Red Hawks 42-6. McGuffie had a rushing and receiving td in the win. The Wolverines only led by 8 at the half, but exploded for a 28 point third quarter to put the game away. The defense played very well throughout the game keeping the Red Hawks scoreless in the second half. up next for the Wolverines is one of their arch rivals, the ND Fighting Irish.
