Lions Continue to Dominate
The Nittany Lions continued there dominance this season as they soundly defeated the Bearcats from Cincinatti by a score of 41-10. The Bearcats got the scoring started with a FG from 47 yards out. The Lions wasted little time responding by scoring 3 unanswered touchdowns on TD passes from Daryl Clark to Chaz Powell, Brent Brackett, and then Powell again to take a 21-3 lead into the second quarter.
The Bearcats tried to get back in it when they stripped Evan Royster of the football and Chris Young took the ball back 75 yards for a touchdown. The Lions answered with two field goals right before the half and took a 27-10 lead to the half.
The Lions got the ball to start the second half and marched down the field capping it off with a 1 yard plunge. The drive took an amazing 5 minutes and 30 seconds. The fourth quarter was pretty uneventful until Navarro Bowman grabbed a pass and took it back 77 Yards for a Lions touchdown. Final Score PSU 41, CIN 10.
On the recruiting front this week for the Lions, Aaron Porter gave his verbal commitment to the lions on Thursday. The 5'10" 225 lb. middle linebacker recruit from Cheat Lake, West Virginia will give the Lions some needed depth at the MLB position and the possibility to start early in his collegiate career.
