Lions Make It 7-0 over Michigan
The Wolverines were completely overmatched in the game against the Nittany Lions. The Lions got there first win in the Big House in 8 years.
The Lions got the scoring started with a 34 yard field goal from Anthony Fera. Penn State would add it's first touchdown of the day on it's following drive. Daryl Clark found a wide open Chaz Powell from 4 yards out. After 1 quarter PSU 10, Michigan 0.
Michigan would score it's only touchdown of the day to open the second quarter scoring. Forcier found Moore from 24 yards out. Penn State would answer with 2 consecutive touchdown run, one from Evan Royster and one from Stephon Green. Anthony Fera would add another field goal to end the 1st half. PSU 27, Michigan 7.
Stephon Green played most of the second half as head coach Joe Paterno gave Royster the 2nd half off. Green would score his 2nd TD of the game in the 3rd quarter. After 3 PSU 34, Michigan 7.
Green would add his 3rd TD of the game from 16 yards out to close out the win for the Nittany Lions. Final score PSU 41, Michigan 7. With the win PSU improved to 7-0 on the year.
Penn State did not add any recruits but with the big showdown coming up with Ohio State in just a few weeks, things should get interesting quickly.
