2009 Week 3

2-0 Pitt had the home opener against Bowling Green this Saturday. Well Pitt never showed up to play as Bowling Green walked all over them. The poor Falcons offense tromped all over Pitts defense, which normally plays great. Pitt looks to rebound next week in the conference opener at home against Cincinnati.

#3. When Pat Bostick went down in the 3rd quarter (Bruised Shoulder/2 Weeks), Dexter Davidson filled in and threw a touchdown to Maurice Williams, who was named Player of the Game.

#2. Dorin Dickerson picked off a pass and returned it 5 yards. This adds to his forced fumbles and 2 tackles on the day.

#1. Late in the game, Dorin Dickerson blocked a Bowling Green extra point. The ball rolled to the left of the mass of players and sophomore kevin pendleton picked the ball up. No one was in sight as he ran teh ball all the way back for Pitt's first defensive 2-point return ever.
