#1 Alabama (6-0) is A+ across the board. We are #1 in everything except pass offense (40th) and turnover differential (6th). Ole Miss (3-2) has a C+ offense, a B+ defense, and is B- overall. They are #28 in pts/gm, #24 in total offense, and #88 in total defense. Weather: Torrential downpour.

QB Jesse Russ throws a short out to WR Joe Tyler and Tyler turns it into a 75 yard TD reception, 7-0 Bama. PR Matt Smith returns a Rebels punt 69 yards for a TD, 14-0.

FB Tim Cox scores on a 3 yard run to make it 21-0 and then scores on another 3 yard TD run to make it 28-0. QB Russ throws a 21 yard TD pass to WR Ian Edmonds, 35-0.

K Dennis Larkins crushes a 55 yard FG, 38-0. HB Nick Brown scores on a 1 yard TD run, 45-0. OM QB Brown throws a 31 yard TD pass to Edwards, 45-7.

FB Jeremy Fulmore scores on a 2 yard TD run, 52-7.

Offensively we put up some good numbers except for the dropped passes. We also turned the ball over way too much. It seemed every time we caused a fumble, the Rebels would jump on it and just the opposite when we put it in the ground.
