2037 Week 2

Coming into the 2037 season, we only lost about 12 players. HB A.J. Jasmin transferred to Florida. MLB Patrick Andrews transferred to Auburn. SS Clint Clark and RT Victor Purcell turned pro. Purcell's leaving will hurt us. However, we did bring in some exciting freshmen. Leading the class is 5 star WR Eddie Simmons. With his 85 OVR, 94 SPD, & 87 CTH, I expect big things out of this kid. CB Marco Herring with his 80 OVR, 99 SPD, 94 AGI, & 99 ACC should be the next great returner at Alabama. There's a logjam in front of him at CB, but I expect him to be returning punts and kickoffs his redshirt freshman season and starting his redshirt sophomore season. Another soon-to-be great player is ROLB Pete Coley. He has 90 SPD, 82 AGI, 93 ACC, & is 82 OVR. I expect this kid to be the next great sackmaster at Alabama. Wow! Our recruiting class only ranked 7th, but that was because we didn't need as many players. We also wound up cutting about 10 walkons plus 2 former players and one true freshman C.

I expect big things out of this team this season with HB Nick Brown coming back and HB Jonas Barnes becoming #2. If redshirt freshman QB Joe Carter can break into the game, his 87 SPD along with Brown's 97 SPD and Barnes' 95 SPD will be game breaking. Our trio of WRs is back and I expect more production out of them. The defense is basically back in tact and is led by ROLB Jermaine Gay from Smithville, TN. I expect this group to shutdown people. SS Demarcus Amadi takes over in replacing SS Clint Clark. He's 6'7", 217 pounds and I expect him to be killing people on passes thrown across the middle of the field.

UCF (0-0) has a C offense, a B- defense, and is C+ overall. #1 Alabama is A+ across the board. Weather: Clear.

ROLB Jermaine Gay strips the QB and DT Derek O'Brian scoops and runs 33 yards for a TD, 7-0 Bama. UCF QB Grigsby throws a 76 yard TD pass to Dorsey, 7-7. KR Jonas Barnes returns the ensuing kickoff 104 yards for the score, 14-7. HB Nick Brown scores on an 11 yard TD run, 21-7.

K Dennis Larkins nails a 47 yard FG, 24-7. FB Tim Cox scores on a 6 yard TD run, 31-7. QB Jesse Russ throws a 44 yard TD pass to HB Barnes, 38-7. K Larkins hammers home a 57 yard FG, 41-7.

QB Russ throws a 56 yard TD pass to WR Lance Carter, 48-7. UCF HB Reese throws an 80 yard TD pass to Dorsey, 48-14. QB Russ throws an 11 yard TD pass to WR Carter, 55-14. FB Jeremy Fulmore scores on a 13 yard TD run, 62-14.

K Larkins knocks in a 33 yard FG, 65-14. QB Joe Carter throws a 4 yard TD pass to TE Christian Wheeler, 72-14. FB Fulmore scores his second TD of the day when he goes in from 2 yards out, 79-14.

Let me tell you, this offense is extremely explosive. We have playmakers all over the field. We did have a couple of lapses in the secondary, but it's nothing that can't be fixed. I'm really looking forward to the rest of this season.
