WEST POINT, N.Y. (AP) - Oh, how things can change in one week. Last week it seemed as if the Army Black Knights (1-1) would have trouble winning a game. Boy, has that changed.

One of the major criticisms from last weeks game against Akron was the Black Knight's lack of a rushing attack. Granted, it was against 1-AA Rhode Island, but HB Jamal Robinson rushed for 200 yards and 4 scores on just 24 carries. After a 28 yard interception return that gave the Black Knights a 7-0 advantage, Robinson would score 3 consecutive times, including one 61 yard scamper. The Rams wouldn't go on to score until the middle of the second quarter, when blown coverage allowed a 74 yard passing score. After scoring again near the end of the first half, Army would go on a 31-0 scoring run during the second half, winning the blowout 80-14.

Backup HB Tony Moore also had a great day, running 27 times for 95 yards. QB Carson Williams, who took over last week for Senior David Pevoto, had a solid night on the gorund as well, carrying the ball 8 times for 56 yards and 2 scores.

"I think [the rushing game] is what made the difference in our win. We saw how the lack of one hurt us last week, and we just wanted to run it down their throats," said Coach Ghettoshark.

The passing attack was a different story. In his first career start, Williams was inconsistent, throwing 14 for 25 with 221 yards, 3 scores, and 2 picks. Ghettoshark quickly dismissed any discussion of a QB controversy however following the game.

"We made the decision, and [Williams] is our guy. Remember, the kid's a Sophomore and this was his first start as a Black Knight. He'll get better with experience, and his mobility is extremely valuable to us right now," said Ghettoshark.

The Black Knights will travel to 0-2 Wake Forest next week.
