OKLAHOMA OWNS BU
The past 2 weeks have proved 1 disturbing fact to fans of Baylor's football team...the state of Oklahoma owns the Bears. In losing the past 2 games to the Sooners & Cowboys, Baylor has been outplayed as badly as during any stretch under Coach Juggs. The most upsetting part is how the once deadly Baylor offense has been completely shut down. Losing to 2 superior talent teams is one thing, losing by a combined score of 83-11 is a whole other story.
An upset Coach Juggs had this to say during his post game press conference, "Well obviously, we're struggling right now. The defense has given up alot of points but 95% of the blame falls on the shoulders of the offense. We have done absolutely nothing the past 2 games and we can only expect so much from the defense when they're on the field so much of the game and their getting no support. Luckily, our bye week comes at the right time. You best believe me and the coaches are hitting the chalkboard to draw up some new plays and reviewing the game tapes to see what's working and what's not. And expect us to hit the practice field hard in full pads for the entire 2 weeks leading up to the finale with Wyoming."
At 6-5, odds are that the Bears will be invited to a Bowl Game regardless of the outcome of the Wyoming game, but a win would solidfy their chances. Unfortunately for Coach Juggs, that game is being simmed so it's out of his hands and up to the sim gods to decide Baylor's fate.
