Tigers Cut Owls
This game was never close. Clemson's offense started off slow by settling for a 43 yard field goal by Jad Dean (who finished with 3 field goals on the day). Later in the first quarter Chansi Stuckey caught one of two touchdown passes to push the lead to 10-0 in the first. The very next clemson posession hb, james davis, ran up the right sideline on a 72 yard touchdown scamper that put a nail in the coffan. This was also followed by a 30 yard Reggie Merriwhether touchdown run. T
This game was not much to speak about on the owls side. They had 1 yard rushing on 17 carries and only 95 yards passing, with two interception. The tigers defense stifled them at every oppurtunity, with gaines adams getting 3 TFL and a sack. Philip Merling also wreaked havoc for 2 sacks.
The Tiger prepare to go on the road next week to face the boston college golden eagles. Boston College defeated C. Michigan soundly this week.
