2007 Week 2

Akron is C across the board. We are a D- offense, a D+ defense, and D+ overall. I feel that this defense will be able to shutdown most teams we play this year. I also feel these special teams miscues will cease as we have more speed in backup positions this year.

Zips K Mitchell kicks a 30 yard FG. 10-0. Zips QB Mayle throws a 40 yard TD pass to TE#84. 17-0.

Zips QB Love passes to TE#84 for a 63 yard TD pass. 24-0.

FB Mike Horner scores on a 1 yard TD run. Two point conversion fails. 24-6.

This was honestly one of the worst efforts I've seen this team put in. Our new TE dropped 4 passes. QB Schroeder was picked off on our first three drives before he was knocked out of the game. Our defense could not stop the run either. Terrible!
