All Quiet in Week 17

Weekly Report Posted: May 17, 2024 23:43

No news has been reported this week.

Boise State (7-4) has a C offense, a C- defense, and is C+ overall. They are #15 in pts/gm, #13 in total offense, and #55 in total defense. We are #1 in pts/gm, #7 in total offense, and #1 in total defense. ROLB Pedro Myers missed a team meeting and will therefore miss the bowl game. Ughh!!!

After a big punt return by PR Maurice Mitchell, QB Jason Schroeder hits WR Trevor Wright on the next play with a 16 yard TD pass. 7-0 Heavy Metal!

QB Schroeder goes long to WR Zach Collins for a 37 yard TD pass. 14-0. QB Schroeder hits WR Justin Bullocks for an 8 yard TD pass, 21-0. K Donte Botts boots a 26 yard FG to make it 24-0 at the half.

BSU HB Gardner runs over 3 guys and past the rest on his way to an 81 yard TD. He takes it in on the 2 point conversion and it's now 24-8. HB Mitchell takes a pitch, goes around the right side, and doesn't stop until he's gone 68 yards for a TD. On his way by the Boise bench, he yelled, "Anything you can do, I can do better!" PR Mitchell returns a punt 69 yards for a TD. This made up for his almost TD on the first punt return and his return for a TD on his second try that was brought back by a penalty.

HB Mitchell takes it in from 5 yards. 45-8. QB Derek McClain throws a pass over the middle to WR Wright. He makes a move on the safety and it's a foot race that he usually wins. This one was no different and this 88 yard TD pass makes it 52-8. QB Brad Brown throws a 14 yard TD pass to WR Rashaud Jenkins.

This gives us our second bowl win.
